Ive always wanted to get one of those netbooks that have been the rage these days. With its cheap price, ultra mobility and long lasting batteries, its a perfect gadget to bring it with you wherever you go.
Best Denki was holding a road show at Ngee Ann City the other weekend and i bought my netbook at last! Costing SGD 888, The Acer Aspire One 751 model is the latest in the Aspire One series. Boasting an 11 inch screen with up to 8 hours of battery life on a single full charge, it would be extremely useful for me to bring to campus. I bought the diamond black netbook. It has that executive feel to it. The keyboard is 100% the size of a regular pc keyboard, making typing a breeze. In fact, this entry is entirely done on my new netbook, while sitting down at a cafe enjoying my cup of coffee. Typing is hassle free and its great if you are outside, and yet requires a computer to complete that last minute report, presentation or writeup.
The Acer Aspire One netbooks are highly recommended for those looking for portability, functionality and those who simply wanna surf the net on the go. It runs on windows xp service pack 3, which is extremely stable and has the latest microsoft office 2007 as well as open office for my productivity purposes.
Im sure this netbook would last me till the end of my time on campus and most likely serve my needs really well.
