I just decided to leave home one afternoon and spend an entire day at Kinokuniya Bookstore. It has been a while since I visited the store and exploring new books to read and expanding my reading list was what I did there.I was all alone there, solace and a peace of mind allowed me to browse the books with absolute focus. The crowd was just nice, not too crowded, just nice. I managed to go through every shelf that they have in that bookstore, even on topics that that I have not a hint of interest in, like new age book, aeronautics, architecture, but there are some really interesting books that I managed to pick from those shelves. I expanded my reading list, and have added books to my amazon wishlist. Mainly non-fiction books, since it has been a while since I read one. I have yet to read The Emperor of All Maladies, a Biography of Cancer which I bought from amazon in the E-book format. I dont buy physical books anymore, I download them to my kindle so that I can read from my iPhone or my iPad. So essentially my trip there is more of researching what books to read in the coming months, rather than actually buying them.
I did get some titles off from my afternoon trip, and it should be sufficient for me to last this holiday period 🙂
AWESOME!
