I just got my new Macbook Pro and I am starting to annoy the fact that there are no legacy USB ports at all. All the laptop have is 2 Thunderbolt ports. Now I have purchased my USB-C hub from Indiegogo, called the HyperDrive Thunderbolt 3 USB-C Hub for the Macbook Pro, but it hasn’t arrived yet. And I have no idea when it will start shipping.
For the time being, there is just no way to plug my USB to transfer my back-ups from the previous laptop or insert an SD card to transfer some photos I recently took. Thankfully, most of my essential files are in the cloud and that’s where I have been accessing from lately.
But for now, I have to accept the fact that no files can be transferred in or out of my new Macbook Pro through the traditional means whatsoever. Now that is annoying.
