One month in and I’m loving it to death

IMG_4097

It’s been a little over a month with my brand new micro four thirds camera from Olympus, the OM-D EM5 Mark II, and so far, I have nothing but praises for this camera. It’s an absolute beauty, yet works like a beast. This camera continues to amaze me with all the beautiful photos I have taken using the new OM-D camera. I may not be a professional photographer, merely an enthusiasts, but this camera is giving me loads of fun, just snapping away, and coming back surprised at the quality of photos this camera is able to churn out.

Now, a month after using the 14-150mm kit lens, (I must be crazy by doing this) I got myself the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm F2.8 PRO lens. Why am I calling myself crazy? Well that’s because I just plunked down another SGD 1200 for this lens. You read that right, it’s not a typo. It’s SGD 1200. I hate to swear in my blog, but I am broke as fuck right now. I am going to be eating ramen and grass out on the fields as my daily sustenance for the next few months, all because of my pursuit in photography. I am as irrational as the person who betted on stocks on a company on a verge of collapse, and reminding himself that it is all going to plan.

By now, some of you might guessed it. The image at the top of this post is my OM-D EM5 Mark II coupled with the new 12-40mm F2.8 PRO lens. Isn’t she a beauty? I can’t wait to use it outside and I think, the first real outside test would be the upcoming tulips exhibition at the Flower Dome at Garden’s by the Bay. There tulips of all colors would be on display and I would not be disappoint at what this lens would offer.

OMG what have I done!? I am having buyer’s remorse right now…
