Last month, armed with my new camera gear, the Sony A7CII and 40mm Prime lens, I spent an afternoon at Suntec City Convention Center, where the annual Anime Festival Asia was taking place.
I had a great time there. It was actually my first time going to such an event and I regret not going to AFA in previous years. I was amazed by the amazing community that celebrates all things anime. I used to be an anime fan myself, but as I grew older it has kinda taken a back seat. Nonetheless, I still embrace the anime culture and it was great seeing like-minded people coming together and having a wonderful time at the festival.
I took so many photos at the event, my only regret was not taking more. There were so many people cosplaying and many of them were just so good! The amount of effort they took just to look like their favourite anime film was mindblowing! Mad respect!
