Another Kickstarter project backed

Recently, I backed a Kickstarter project. Ridgemont Outfitter was launching a new line of waterproof, and durable hiking boots. The new pairs of boots come in a variety of colour and personally, I love the Java/Red combination the best. I was browsing Kickstarter when I chanced upon the boots that Ridgemont Outfitters was trying to... Continue Reading →

Cow Play Cow Moo

Yesterday evening I was at Suntec City, walking around and doing some window shopping when I stumbled upon a video arcade game shop called Cow Play Cow Moo. It is a weird name to name one's arcade game shop. On the other hand,  it is also a pretty crafty name to name one's arcade game... Continue Reading →

First time in my life that I've gotten a perfect CAP for the semester! Granted, it was only two modules, but hey, it is worth celebrating right? Life as a Masters student is off to a great start!

Science Bucket at Singapore Science Center

The Science Bucket was the last assignment for the Semester. Each of us were tasked to perform a science demonstration in front of a live public audience at the Mendel Auditorium at the Singapore Science Center last Saturday. It is an open event, where anyone who visited the Science Center on that day were free... Continue Reading →

Semester 1 is officially over

I've worked hard. I have studied hard. Now, it's time to play harder. Much, much harder. One more week to my epic solo trip to Canada! My itinerary has been finalised, my tickets bought. Now it's left to print those and bring it for my trip.

Itinerary almost done

Took me weeks to come up with the itinerary but the research definitely helps. I am looking forward to my trip to Vancouver in a little over a month's time. As I was doing my research, I discovered some pretty interesting hiking trails that I want to explore. This itinerary is more outdoors that I... Continue Reading →
