Gimme the sun in the afternoon!

Yarr!!

I hate it when it rains in the mid afternoon almost everyday. My plans to have a swim at Yishun is always thwarted by rains.  Today it looks good and i hope it stays that way. I’m going to pack my bags to get ready. Besides, I was suppose to do some japanese lessons self learning but that can wait i suppose. If the weather goes bad i can always fall back on the self learning task to keep myself occupied. So its either swimming to studying, with swimming taking priority if weather is good.

Yesterday i cataloged all my anime dvds into a list. Phew! It was hard work indeed, almost 200 discs in all, recording the titles of each dvd where the anime belongs and transferring it into excel. I had to do it, because the collection is getting a tad too big to memorise where they are. The list would be useful in the future to retrieve the specific dvd that i want in the future. Now all i need to do is to refer to the list and order them in alphabetical order. I bought 2 large boxes for my anime collection. Ive used up 2 drawers on my bookshelf, and the first box is already full. The next dvd burned would have to start going to the second box.

This spring season anime release, has produced a couple of exceptional ones. All in all, ive decided to collect about 18 of the total 40 new animes that has been released. Another 18 has been rejected. The remaining ones have no fansub group that were willing to take those titles.

I remember there was a particular week where i downloaded the first episodes of more than 10 new titles as one go and watching them one by one as they finished downloading. It took the whole day to finish watching them all, evaluating them and finding out which were good and which werent. But it was fun, since the series are new and whatever japan has aired on thier local tv stations, im watching them too. The only difference is that mine has been subtitled. Kinda cool when you are in the forefront of whats going on in the world of anime.
