The new Nvidia GPUs are announced.

And I am so getting the RTX 5090.

Priced at USD1999, it will roughly translate to roughly SGD 2.7K. But even at that price, this is just the Founder’s Edition. I am pretty sure that board partners will priced the RTX5090 at much higher prices than that. My prediction is around SGD3.5 to SGD4K, with Asus models being the highest priced models within the same RTX 5090 family.

This will be the first time that I will be getting the flagship GPU from Nvidia. I am currently using the RTX 3080, that I bought back in late 2019. It’s been close to five years since my last upgrade GPU wise.

I overhauled my PC about a month ago in preparation for the latest GPU. AMD 7800X3D with 1000W PSU all in a bigger PC case. Now that I have seen the GPUs and the sizes they these graphics cards will be released by various board partners like Asus, MSI and Zotac, my current PC is future ready for the latest graphics cards.

The GPU will be released on the 30 January. Seems like I will need to camp out at Sim Lim Square to get my hands on the latest GPU right on Day 1.
