Missing in Action

I’ve been having difficulty getting into the internet at my lodge lately. So the entries I typed were all saved in word document. I may not be able to chat with you guys as expected during the nights, as im trying to get permission to use the computer in the university so that I can do some personal stuff. It might not be the right thing to do at this moment, but having means of communications with my family is of the upmost important to me right now because ive not been able to contact them for extended periods of time.

As in such arrangements, ill be online during the early mornings or afternoons, as ill be in the university doing my lab work. Of course, lab work will be paramount will im there, and ill be my best to minimize the amount of time spent infront of the computer.

So if you see me online, you may chat with me, but don’t expect a quick reply. Anything else, please refer to the blog.

For those reading the blog, do let my other classmates know of my situation here, as some of them may be wondering why im not online at night. Well that’s because I can’t, for now.

For those who have the opportunity to see me online from 9am to 5pm, despite you guys also having your own industrial attachment, id like to hear from you soon. Though its only been 4 or 5 days, im starting to miss you guys a lot. Im starting to miss Singapore also, the lifestyle and above all, the food! Im still keeping my promises of buying souvenirs back home, and requests are still on. If you want anything (not too overly expensive) do write a comment, and ill take note of it. I know hock wants nougat, and im still finding it. Ive been to perth city center and have seen a number of souvenir shops. Dee wants a koala I think. Im not sure about the rest, or I may have forgotten it. So please remind me. Don’t worry about it just ask if you need anything. Ill try to find it, so don’t be modest.

Expect my entries to be delayed, because I have to use a thumbdrive, save my documents in it and update the entries using the university’s, computer. In addition, I have to save the images too and spend some time uploading it. As for the videos, I guess you guys have to wait much longer.

I hope that everything is alright over there as well. As for your respective industrial attachments, Allen, Hock, Cher, Dee, Gwen, Sindhu, Ben, Evans, and the rest of the peeps, GANBATTE!! I hope to have you gain as much knowledge and experience as you can during the 12 week or 24 week period. Those going for the 24 week period, please don’t forget about your friends and classmates. Do spent some time to unwind, hang out with them for old time’s sake. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. I won’t be able to join you guys if there is one for the next 11 weeks. But keep in mind that im also trying my best down here to get the best out of it and not take things for granted. I hope you guys do that too. For those who didn’t have the opportunity to go overseas, I hope you aren’t too disappointed about it. I will be making the trip on your behalf. Though my mind is focused on my main task, I still have room in my heart for all my friends. I have still not forgotten the things that you did for me. Attending the bbq, hanging out together before my big trip, and being at the airport to see me off. Even the small things like smsing me minutes before boarding the plane, ill never forget that (You Sheng, Cher, Dee). I thank you once again at the bottom of my heart for such gratitude towards me.
